Written and Illustrated by James Burns Standard Comic 28 pages Black & White POD Detached is about my experience as a visual artist who was suddenly confronted by the very real fear of blindness after suffering a detached retina. It’s not a medical story so much as a psychological one, involving fear, death, faith, and hope. It’s a very personal story, but one that I am uniquely qualified to tell.
