Karen Dunbar is a woman with a very recently-turbulent past. None of which she is able to clearly remember. All she knows is that she is on the run from someone. And, the only one that can help her is not even human! She'd be grateful for the help. But, it's hard to NOT look a gift horse in the mouth when that gift horse is TALKING.

The reawakening of a mystical creature known as The Equestial is just one of many signs of the reawakening of the world of magic. The fate of that world is now the responsibility of Karen Dunbar, the woman who inadvertently summoned him in the first place.
