Smaller, the way Oprah's pants seem to be inexplicably growing. Commissioner Macauley is growing old and obsolete, Miller isn't the crack shot he used to be, and Penfold can't seem to stomach blood 'no more. Everyone intensely sucks. They are incredibly awesome. Gang of Awesomes is a broken story. It has cyberpunk. It has vampires. It has guns and explosions and flying machines and swearing. But it isn't so much about these things. Its a character driven exploration of retardation. Except not mental retardation. 'Retardation' as in the musical term. A deceleration. There is this producer, and he's waving his arms and making shapes to correspond to his words: "It's like what you would get if you crossed 'Clerks' with 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and set it in the 'Blade Runner' universe. " And there is this Executive guy sitting across from him saying 'Ok sure, but is Scarlett Johansson available to play the main character, and can we add a sex scene?
