Ershwins' Reinfield was just murdered last night in another attempt to kill the latest vampire king. He's decided that he does not need a Reinfield much to the horror of his butler and he has a plan. Meanwhile Kelly has a meeting with one of the meanest guidance counsellors at Reinfield Academy.
Kelly Swan has a problem, she's the only senior in Reinfield Academy that doesn't have a vampire. On top of that she suddenly has a reputation as being unruly, tempermental, and grudge bearing not the typical traits for a Reinfield. She decides to take getting a vampire partner in her own hands. Ershwin the latest vampire king is totally against the whole idea of having a Reinfield. Since the death of his lastest Reinfield, Ershwin has figured out a fool proof plan on keeping himself Reinfield free. However he hasn't met Kelly Swan!
