Michael Maddox saves his family from something unaware of what it is. A Demon that wasn’t supposed to be in the presence of humans. Saving his family came with a price. Now he is not human or a demon but something, a Darkling. Now because he exists, he is a way for demons to come from hell to the human realm. A curse and a blessing, Michael Maddox must defeat and eat demon hearts to constantly become stronger and kill all demons to protect his family and the human realm.
