Ntombinde: The Girl Who Loves Danger. Based on a Congolese legend, Ntombinde (pronounced in-tum-BEN-dee) is a village girl whose father, a brave and mighty warrior named Boake, trained her in the art of combat. After his death, Ntombinde became restless and left her village, embarking on journeys which take her all over the continent of Africa, filled with talking animals, underwater creatures and mythological creatures that she must battle. Created in 2006, Ntombinde has appeared in various comic books and a comic strip that has appeared in the Kokomo Tribune since 2012. With imaginative stories, exciting art and vivid coloring, Ntombinde is popular with readers of all ages across all demographic groups.

Remember when comics were fun? Big Bang Comics does. Big Bang is a retro series, honoring the creators, styles and characters from the Golden and Silver Ages right up to modern times. Enjoy 80 years of faux comics history in the pages of Big Bang Comics, which began as a mini-series at Caliber Press in 1994, moved to Image Comics for about 50 issues and one-shots, and as a series of annuals from AC Comics, and almost 50 more issues here through IndyPlanet.
