In mid-December, 2021, a cheesesteak accident at the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) involving cheez whiz and a distracted young airman led to an unintentional, nuclear first strike by the United States. The result was an uncontrollable chain-reaction and global thermonuclear war. Of the planet’s seven billion plus population, only a few motley misfits managed to survive. Protected by the thick walls of their parents’ basements where they were up late playing video games, these Nuclear Nerds must find each other and come together to survive, repopulate the earth and save humanity.
