In 1939 Bill Everett (creator of Namor the Submariner and co-creator of Marvel’s Daredevil) created one of the world’s first superheroes in John Aman the Amazing Man. Only twenty-one issues of Amazing Man Comics would ever be published, but John Aman would go on to have a tremendous influence on many comics characters to come over the years, from Peter Canon Thunderbolt to Marvel’s Iron-Fist to Prime from the Ultraverse. In 2014, John Aman was resurrected by Gallant Comics and given a brand new ongoing series of adventures in John Aman Amazing Man.
