The world has been invaded by an advanced alien force known as the S’Varem (nicknamed the Swarm). Some governments and even religious organizations have found it futile to fight against them, while other rebel groups vow to find a way to stop them. When a hero known as the Guardian arises amid this strife, the rebels believe they have found their answer to victory. Yet, everyone is stunned when the Guardian is willing to sacrifice himself to save ordinary people, including a group of troubled youth witnessing these events play out before their eyes. At the moment of the Guardian’s death, devastating storms and earthquakes erupt. These teens are caught in the middle, with some soon realizing they have mysteriously inherited the Guardian’s powers and now find themselves being chased by the Swarm.
