Leilani “Lani” Escalante, a twenty-one-year-old San Diego resident, was raised by her grandfather, Lolo G, following her parents’ untimely demise. Lolo G, a member of the ancient Ilaw organization, trained Lani in martial arts and stealth techniques. At seventeen, Lani lost her grandfather to a criminal investigation gone wrong.
