Unity in Chaos collects the first five issues of The Accords, a seven-member team composed of members of the LGBTQ+ community with straight allies (Reina, Seer, Howl, Corazon, Segura, Sire, and Grounder). While not an official member of the team, they are given information by the Lynx, a holographic image only they can see. But who is Lynx? The story begins with one of the members defecting to the Morticana Order, a faction of the current presidential administration promoting racism, homophobia, xenophobia, and transphobia. Along the way, the team encounters the leader of the Morticana Order and is assisted by Raphael, Corazon’s boyfriend as well as Misster Haniel, a tarot card reader in the West Village. After saving Percy from a bombing at New York Comic-Con, the team adopts young Percy. Michael Connor, the president’s main man, is instructed to obtain Percy for the Order’s use. This culminates in a final battle at Madison Square Garden where secrets are revealed and more mysteries arise.
