Previously in “The Accords” the team assembled at New York Comic Con, sans one member (seer), to prevent a bomb placed by the Morticana Order from going off. Due to Seer’s seeming betrayal of the team, the bomb went off. Despite their best efforts, the team could not contain the destruction and Grounder was buried under tons of debris.
